snowstormcanuck
There's definitely something opaque sticking to the road sfc on the 401 in Etobicoke here:
snowstormcanuck
I'm starting to doubt whether we see any of the mid level forcing that's producing that ribbon of snow from central MI to the Niagara Peninsula. Seems to be drifting well to our SE. Latest HRRR would concur. What a cluster**** "storm".

WestCoaster
Interesting set up over the lake right now. We'll see if this morphs into anything juicy for our side of the shore. Otherwise my 3-wave total will likely be a whopping 2-3"

snowstormcanuck
http://www.wunderground.com/radar/radblast.asp?ID=WKR&type=C0R I'm pretty sure this persistent -SN over the Toronto-Barrie corridor is upslope on the NE flow.

Very well could be especially considering how saturated the low levels are ATM. Banding has stayed south of the area that the HRRR was indicating this morning but resultant amounts are the same. Ottawa Blizzard
Seems to have been a mix of freezing rain and snow here today. Roads are a total mess, haven't seen any plows or salters out. Too many people driving like its July. Mounds of snow in my neighbourhood though. It looks like I really lucked out with wave 2. I'd say I've had about 4" in total, maybe 5". mississaugasnow
Crazy temperature contrast with that boundary. This event stings a bit but I will take freezing drizzle and 2 inches of snow instead of 6C and misty conditions ruining the snowpack.

smoof
The band of snow in Central MI was pretty sweet I had 30 minutes of heavy snow and about 45 minutes of light to moderate snow for a total of 0.75"

Which makes sense because the snow / mix line has been racing south for hours now already.

Only real shot is that area of snow over the thumb of MI associated with the upper wave. I think it misses Toronto just to the south. You've got a better shot in Mississauga.
