I'm pretty sure this persistent -SN over the Toronto-Barrie corridor is upslope on the NE flow.

 

Very well could be especially considering how saturated the low levels are ATM. Banding has stayed south of the area that the HRRR was indicating this morning but resultant amounts are the same.

There's going to be an issue with freezing drizzle tonight locally. just started out here at Harsens Island and temps are in the upper 20s here. DTW MTC and PTK all reporting either freezing rain or freezing drizzle.

Its already slippery as heck. The deep glacier snowpack is starting to freeze as the sidewalks are ice rinks. Light freezing rain and sleet falling.

HRRR says everybody around Detroit will change to snow by 01Z. Which makes sense because the snow / mix line has been racing south for hours now already.
