of course I've had people asking me all day, 'Are you SURE it's gonna be cold enough to snow tonight and tomorrow???? Because it's pouring rain now and feels very warm out.' :gun_bandana::arrowhead:

Yeah people always bring that up especially if it's really warm a couple days before the snow. Then you get questions like if it will accumulate, the fact that it's March, and a bunch of other nonsense.

I believe it was 2007 were temperatures soared into the 60s and 70s a couple days prior to a significant sleetstorm.

SO many people don't understand a State of Emergency. More often than not one is declared just so the government can do what it needs to in order to get the job done. For example, the govt can purchase things without having to follow the painful procurement process that is typically in place. Only sometimes does a SOE include any travel bans.
