Please stop making sense. You're ruining what could have never been. All in all, it's comical. Let's all laugh over it. We're stuck to computers and tablets and mobile devices waiting for what could be an inch or two of snow lol

Enjoy the "fail" as they say.  We all win in May, June, July, August, September with rain!

America used to be better before corporations became people...

Unfortunately due to sponsorship, I am only able to respond by saying "Thank you for your helpful comments. It is our customers that make the difference and we promise to do the best we can to use your input to improve all that we do:)"

Why tho? Are we gonna sit idle and allow people to ruin the creditably of this site year after year...why is it always the one trying to make sense and be reasonably of the chaos the one to be shushed... Go shush the people calling for slingshot meso bands

LOL.  This site is better than a lot of the others who treat their sites like a "clique".  Mods don't want to be overbearish here and I appreciate them for it.  This is truly one of the best run forums/sites I'm a member of.  There's a ton where certain owners/mods treat it like a personal playground.

But, if you have a complaint reach out to a Mod about it.

yeah but colder temps lead to drier skin leading to more dandruff and MUCH BETTER ratios. Something to keep in mind.....Won't take much liquid or dry skin to get to our forecasted totals

I think I failed dermatology...along with several other subjects...

all I'm saying is

minor wishcasting > the same snarky jokes every five seconds

There should be 0 Wishcasting, and the "snarky" would cease... Why do you think this place is know as weenievill... I mean do u read other boards and what they say? It's embarrasing and id hope folks would want to change that but apparently not

No arguement there!!! I want a monster storm so bad but I know when the writing is on the wall lol.. I'm really hoping for a late feb early March hit

I think it would soothe the weenies, calm some tensions and relax everyone leading into Spring.  Last spring I was fortunate, I got to witness a strong thunder/hailstorm in May and then a deluge thunderstorm in June/July I think it was.  Weather has always interested me.  Now, with the internet, various media tools to really analyze the weather.  We're fortunate to be in this age and hopefully it will only get better with even more impressive tools/toys to understand/argue about the weather.

It is the posts such as "no way this skips us over. we're getting 6-12 I don't care what any of the models say!" as well as "We won't get anything obviously because this winter sucks" that are not appropriate for a storm thread. That I agree. However, the posts in between from both camps, such as "The NAM and several runs of the SREF still show more than a couple inches of snow, therefore I'm not giving up yet even though it doesn't look great" as well as "The SREFs have been consistently horrible along with the NAM, so I'll stick with the RGEM and short term models, which unfortunately don't lay down much more than an inch or two", are acceptable to me. The banter in the main threads is that which makes a call but doesn't reference anything whatsoever. That is wish casting and clutters up the threads. If this post was hard to read, it is because it was terribly constructed. :)

This region has certainly been on the wrong side of several forecast busts this winter. At some point, maybe you hope the odds break in your favor.

Totally agree, but they gotta pick their battles and not clog a storm thread with nonsense that has no guidance to back it up. I'm not against hope, I'm against making predicitons that have no merit as if they are valid

There's a spot opening in The Lovin' Spoonful  if you believe that...
