I see you're back on the pipe... good man.

How did your feelings/hallucinations work out last year? Because I recall you having a "real feeling" we'd have a snowpack through Memorial Day.

I was going to ask him his projected "leaf out" date.  I'm guessing mid June this year?

I have a feeling NYC will not go below 10* tonight because the temps are just torching right now under that high and bright sun.

They are over 20 degrees below average and they'll easily go under 10F once the sun goes down.

However temps have been a bit higher than forecast for the past several days which is why they won't hit 0.

The sun angle is starting to play a role now in elevating temperatures slightly but it's certainly not torching by any means.

I don't think well hit 0, but single-digits are possible. We were originally forecast to be at 19 degrees; 21or 22 is not that far off and is certainly not torching.

We were supposed to be in the low-mid teens. The wind direction isn't entirely ideal (NW vs due N), so we'll have to see how much temps drop tonight.

Really? As of yesterday, the lowest forecast temp I saw (on AW) was 19. Maybe the NWS had lower, but I find AW is pretty good with temps a day or so out.

This is from 9:30pm last night (zone forecast):

NWS it is. I don't know why, but they always seem to go low with the temps. TWC tends to go high. AW is often in the middle. On Sat, TWC predicted 37, NWS 30, and AW 34. My temp hit 34.

Models can't predict more than 6hrs right now let alone several weeks.

Now there's something I can agree with...
