PB GFI
You don't go all in on a outlier we've learned the hard way following the Nam when all other guidance was much further east during the "blizzard". The same applies here. May not want to toss the 12z GEFS

SleetStormNJ
Yeah. I moved on Jan 15th. Thanks for the props anyway. No problem. Glad to see you still enjoy posting up here! We've needed some new moderators. I say, heck if you wanna do it and can do it! Go for it. We've lost a lot of good members from here unfortunately. I've been a long-time lurker for over a decade on the EUSWX/AMX sites and only joined officially a couple years ago.

TwcMan
They better hope for a slowly moderating trend up there this spring. Sudden warmups and rain would be a disaster.

Sudden warmups and rain would be a disaster. If accuweather is right and March is a warmer than normal month, the Boston area better hope there isn't a lot of rain to go with that. Between the snow and ice melt that would be a total disaster up there

Juliancolton
Yes, I think we all know about the potential for hydrological issues in New England this spring. We probably don't need to be reminded every two hours in every thread.

IsentropicLift
There are going to be plenty of hydro issues this Spring in Northeast NJ, assuming that the snowpack keeps getting replenished.

snowman19
Ice jams could be an issue up here.Ice jams and the fact that catch basins are also blocked by plowed ice and snow. If there isn't a gradual meltdown and a sudden warm, heavy rain there are going to be major flooding issues
