ORH_wxman
The latter half of that band was like arctic fluff even though temps were still around 25-28F...dropping lower now, but that was excellent snow growth.
CT Rain
The latter half of that band was like arctic fluff even though temps were still around 25-28F...dropping lower now, but that was excellent snow growth. Our accumulation was 40:1 from the core I took. Total fluff bomb. Makes the 4.8" on Mount Tolland believable as much as I don't want to believe it. mahk_webstah
Finished with about 2.5". Sort of another underperformer. I was watching radar. You had 2.3" at 6am and it snowed for 4 more hours. what happened?

Makes the 4.8" on Mount Tolland believable as much as I don't want to believe it. Had 2.5" of total paste at around 7:30-8am...stuiff was probably 7 to 1, lol. After that, we've had like 3" on maybe a tenth of qpf.
radarman
Just about 5" final in Btown. Very nice storm indeed.
SnowlieSnowstormson
FWIW a lot of coworkers coming in this morning were surprised at how bad it was in some spots. I think the side roads were in terrible shape. The highways seemed a lot better.
Cold Miser
Roads were fine around here. Terrible here, especially side roads.

Wait, you've got 5.5" from this? I've still, after that Pounding of 35dbz for 1 hour which I can't even remember the last time I had a band like this, got a measly 1.5"-1.75". sankaty
Won't be able to take a measurement for a while, unfortunately. Guessing it will be between 2-3". Snow has lightened up considerably.

IMG_2015020539727.jpg Beautiful, this morning on my way in I was thinking refresher time as after yesterdays mid 30's we had some ugly looking piles on the sides of the road, landscape is still pristine, lol now it all is

CapturedNature
This was this morning just before 8, probably a bit over 6" now Nice! I know it's not, but the top picture would make an interesting snowboard. The ruler goes in straight but you still get a slanted measurement. Slant the board, not the ruler. This is 2 today @TollandAlert: #TollandFire responded to a roof collapse on detached garage today. tamarack
Moderate snow in Augusta, probably above 3" total. Farther east, Ellsworth reported 8" at 8 AM - some double-digit totals likely downeast. GYX map has my foothills location at 3-4". Radar seems to indicate <2", maybe <1". Fairly sharp NW cutoff.
