WintersGrasp
gfs_asnow_us_25.png I've noticed the new GFS consistently picks up on the higher elevations of west Milford as receiving higher amounts of snow

IsentropicLift
By Monday night, heights are significantly higher along the coast. The trough is digging and has gone negative tilt.
IsentropicLift
it's going to try and close off at H5 but it's more progressive than the GGEM which blows up a completely different system.

IsentropicLift
It would close NEPA and the HV down That would probably close everyone down, the coastal would have proabably been snow.
bluewave
The EURO is just beautiful . Great CAD signature . A pos tilt trough is what we want to continue so the freeze line can't buckle north with an overamped solution.
IsentropicLift
A pos tilt trough is what we want to continue so the freeze line can't buckle north with an overamped solution. It's not a positive tilted trough. The only reason we stayed colder is because the trough dug more. And with that the coastal was further offshore. PB GFI
A pos tilt trough is what we want to continue so the freeze line can't buckle north with an overamped solution. The Euro looks like the GFS . One HP after another heading through the lakes . It sees the confluence and keeps the SLP to our south so yes if it is pos tilted it will get forced underneath .
