Allsnow
Feb. 25-27, 2010?? Aka "snowicane"? Still in 2010 sne was well above avg snowfall wise. They just ended up missing the bigger events. Not even close to the departure Boston and phl/nyc have now.
NorthShoreWx
Feb. 25-27, 2010?? Aka "snowicane"? 20"+ for NYC metro and I believe all rain in Boston. You would also have enjoyed the blizzard of 1888.
UnionWeatherWx
I'll never forget when DC, Atlantic City, Philly where getting crushed consecutive times, and we got flurries. Luckily, the next year I got 31" (boxing day blizzard) (2010-2011) Winter. While D.C poured heavy rain.
danstorm
Can we get 2 feet while Boston gets zilch? Hard to do. Late Feb 2010 Boston was 50 and rain while nyc scored 20...12/30/2000 saw a foot with rain in Beantown. It's not impossible.

Allsnow
Parts of NYC have around 30" though already Tim. Nyc has 20. When they look back on this winter that's all they will compare in the media. By tomorrow Boston will have 70 and Nyc

Well, we had close to 5" of liquid over 4 days and 20.9" of snow. They only had 2.47" in those 4 days and got 0.1" of snow. I think what was rain for us was rain for them and they nothing from the snow.

That storm in February 2010, I had about 6" of snow IMBY followed by inches of rain while areas 10 miles or less to my south and west got 2 feet of snow. Anything is possible with the weather. They had rain from the same storm and most of the snow for nyc fell in the wee hrs after they dry slotted. Cmon you were here then, how do you not remember that?
