bluewave
How are we in the record department regarding snow pack? They are going to need to update this graphic from the 26th. Maybe Uncle has the other years in the range between now and 47-48 for NYC.
Zelocita Weather
This is the 40th consecutive day with solid snowpack for the region. Jan 25 - ???
SnoSki14
I wonder how things will end up looking at that chart. Now the snowpack is strictly dependant on how much day to day melting goes on. Last year was very impressive too, the back to back winter snowcover must be another record.
Fantom X
16" snowdepth here (average)
Isotherm
About 7" in the lowest spots to around 20" in the highest drifts. Mostly a 8-14" coverage which is amazing on March 6th. 41st consecutive day of snow cover. Think we make it through the middle of next week. RU848789
90% of my property has 18-20" (checked about 10 spots). A few locations are 10-12" and a few are 20-24", both presumably due to drifting. And I'm not counting my huge footprints, or where I've done snow angels. :>) I'd expect to have 90% of the yard covered until at least 3/20 or so, as I'm guessing there's 3-4" of LE locked up in that pack. EasternLI
The bottom few inches are rock solid ice. Not exactly sure how much is OTG, but whatever it is, I'm extremely pleased with it!!

chietanen
Have to get out and measure tomorrow, was at a high of 20" on Wednesday morning. We missed out on the storm yesterday, but there is literally a 1" solid crust on top of the snow from Tuesday night (plus a solid block of ice at the bottom). IsentropicLift
Solid pack here. The only loss has been the very recent few inches that didn't have time to congeal with the rest of what can be called a glacier.
LongBeachSurfFreak
Down to a few inches mainly in the shade here on the south shore. That's on average there are still drifts from the blizzard that should last a while longer

Juliancolton
19" here.. This isn't going anywhere anytime soon.. Wow, nice. I'm down to about 14-15", with some bare ground showing up on rocky, south-facing outcroppings.

Shady areas do still have several inches.
LongBeachSurfFreak
Pretty similar here. I was just out driving around, and it's amazing how much bare ground there is already. Shady areas do still have several inches. Makes sense as there was a big SW to NE gradient this year. I can say there is less snow left in queens then even out by me 15 miles east from the blizzard

wthrmn654
Ableto finally snow blow sidewalls at work yesterday was surprisingly shocked at how deep the snow was overall and how much of the fresh snow was still left at 2 pm in the sun with temps about 41... I measured 12 inches where it wasn't drifted with no grasses anywhere. By time I return to work Saturday,I'll try to remember to give an update!
