ORD is now 0.3" away from normal snowfall for the entire season after the December shutout. Impressive.

DTW should be close by the weekend, incredible when you think about it. As a matter of fact by that point we will be closer to last year's total to date than we would be normal to date.

Shows how all it takes is 1 major event or 2 big events. Also having the substantially below climo snow month early in the winter gives plenty of time to make up lost ground.

plus this is not the east coast. We live in the land of frequent snowfalls. Even in the most terrible pattern the nickels and dimes fall. So you actually GET a big dog, & you darn near near 100% lock yourself into an above average season.

According to the CLI climate product, DTW is at 35" since Jul 1 compared to a normal-to-date of 24.8". That would obviously include November though.

Edit: oh I get it, normal for the whole season. Sorry. Yeah, we might be eclipsing that soon :D
