stormtrackertf
Hope we get another report from DTW soon. Assuming ratios have stayed the same, this hour they should be over a foot.

Chicago Storm
14.5" estimated here now. Highest report I've seen so far. That Bull Valley report seems too high based on other reports in that area.
Louieloy102
A widespread/multi-band LES structure taking shape in E. Wisconsin and NE. Illinois. Is the LES still taking shape, or is it stronger/weaker than projected? Thanks.

n1vek
Yeah that Roseville measurement is a little ambitious. Hope this thing pivots and keeps the solid returns coming. Super Sunday indeed.
A-L-E-K
That Bull Valley report seems too high based on other reports in that area. My dad is saying ~13 in SE McHenry Co and he's just sticking a ruler on a picnic table.
Chicago Storm
Is the LES still taking shape, or is it stronger/weaker than projected? Thanks. It's still taking shape, but it's not going to be too significant. Last LES bands should pass ORD around midnight.
DaveNay
My dad is saying ~13 in SE McHenry Co and he's just sticking a ruler on a picnic table. Considering the blowing all day, that's as accurate as anything.
Geos
That Bull Valley report seems too high based on other reports in that area. Yeah I looked further at the reports. I saw more 11-14" in that area. Then I see this one and that seems low. 0821 PM HEAVY SNOW WOODSTOCK 42.31N 88.44W02/01/2015 M8.9 INCH MCHENRY IL TRAINED SPOTTER

WestCoaster
Been snowing here in Toronto for a few of hours now, almost at 1" now. Just starting for us. Snow has been steady but the flake size is VERY small... probably won't do as well here as a result. Temps are down to 9F here
