bluewave
wow @ long island traffic. don't remember seeing it this bad ever....during non-rush hour. (clicking image shows it better) Speed restrictions for Suffolk with all roads limited to 45 mph. The Southern State is backed up even on clear days so I am glad that I don't have to be on it now. IsentropicLift
13th event here of the season with measurable snow and just shy of 30". Appears to be a rather balanced season setting up for the area.
winterwx21
30" on the season, which sounds unbelievable after such a terrible December. Just an insane last 15 days. My 3.5" today brings me to 17.5" for the season. Still haven't had an event over 5" this winter. West of NYC has been the screwzone, but I'm glad people to the east are doing so well. And it's not as if 17.5" is below average or anything. Not too bad even though it has been the screwzone.

yhbrooklyn
Probably 7 at LGA so about the same in Brooklyn and should be about the same at CPK Depends where in Brooklyn. LGA reported 5.2" with the first batch. JFK reported 2.8". I probably got closer to 2.5". I'd say we're at 5-5.5" total. Have to go measure this batch. Nygmen
WOW 5 inches of snow from that backside band more than i even thought...that combined with the 4 inch front end dump puts me at 9 inches...one of the biggest overachievers in awhile
