winterwx21
Only a dusting on the back end here. A little jealous seeing that snow band to the east, but at least we got 3.5" here last night. Amazing how much better Long Island is doing than New Jersey this winter.

Jason215
Absolutely Gorgeous outside! At least 2 inches new after the slop fest. The intensity reminds me of last March we had a nice little surprise that dropped about 5 inches on the Island in a couple hours. I don't remember the exact date. -Jason

bluewave
And you said it was bright banding. 2"-3" an hour band. Just like the HRRR said and in the exact placement it had. I said SIR Reef was seeing bright banding as it wasn't as heavy at his spot as radar was indicating.
JERSEYSNOWROB
This will drop 3-4 inches in eastern Monmouth Great shot! Just missed those heavier bands here in NW Monmouth. Had enough to freshen up the snowpack but nothing like you have been getting down there!! Enjoy!!

NJwinter23
This storm has better banding in my area than the blizzard lol My high was predicted to be 41 lol. Big fail. LOL no joke, I saw better snow rates by far when i woke up and looked out the window at 230am today, and arguably the last hour, than I did the entire "blizzard". Brian5671
If I had time, I would bump up the posts about where these bands would set up. It was obvious it would be for Coastal NJ, NYC, CT and LI. This band is dropping 2"-4" for the above areas. picked up a quick 2 here, likely to get another inch-HRRR for the win
ag3
Wow at Boston again in this storm. I wonder if they approach record snow depths after this? Why does that matter when NYC and LI are currently seeing a 2"-4" an hour super band? Who cares.

Big Jims Videos
Back to moderate snow. Damage has been done. Check out google maps roads over Eastern Monmouth. Made it back just in time. Eyeballing 3 fresh inches on the deck. One more push from some snow over toms river and a very pleasant ending for what first showed so much promise.
