UlsterCountySnowZ
The HRRR was right, stick a fork in it, it's done baby, fat lady is signing, say goodnight Gracie.... HRRR isn't entirely right, Long Island still looks to fair pretty well, and HRRR dry slotted them too
Animal
Looks to be done for most here, soundings are falling apart to our SW Yea. Little surprised I did not even crack 3 inches. Looked as if most models produced this total at a min.

chietanen
I must say I find it comical that so many people (not in here) were pulling for this storm to develop further south and as it did, so went their chances for a meaningful snowfall. I'm glad that most of us were in the same camp, focusing on the cold and the wind and taking whatever snow we got as a bonus. I just measured, btw, and ended up with 2.2" of snow for the event. It appears more people than I thought got emotionally invested in this event. Shame, really. Not a bad total for you. What's your YTD?

ENYsnow
Looks like the GFS and the ARW SREF members amplify the lead shortwave for the Tuesday event and the second one swings wide right.. meanwhile the NAM and rest of the SREF members key in on the second shortwave. Lets see what the cmc ukmet and euro do.
HeinzGuy
0z GFS had a long duration storm hours 204-240. Looked like snow to mix to snow for a lot of the HV.

IrishRob17
So where did this influx of weenies come from? TWC? Accuweather? Some high school? Middle school? LOL
IrishRob17
Unreal how the same areas of MA just continue to jackpot time and time again. After having 17" at it last night, my snow stake is down to 14" this morning and that's not due to melting...the north side of my yard is littered in pine needles again. BxEngine picked the wrong time to start his reign. Boston should break their all time record at this point. I believe they are now less than 15" from it. Fun times for them, that's for sure. IrishRob17
Yeah, the wind could be worse but it's bad enough here, especially along the open fields, roads down right treacherous with solid ice under the blowing snow. Here are a few pictures including one of the frozen snowcovered Wallkill River.

Juliancolton
Thanks, the first two photos actually makes the visibility look better than it was to the plain eye at the time.Yeah, cameras have a way of doing that. Most of the time, nothing compares to being there on the ground.Winds are pretty tame so far imby but it's certainly a brisk one out there. Animal
Looks like Mountain Creek got 4 inches. I did not see anywhere near that amount. Final total I am going with is 2.5 inches snow. MOUNTAIN REPORT Sunday, February 15th 2015 What a Saturday we had with tons of fun going down all over the slopes. We even got some freshies to enjoy for this awesome weekend. With 4” of fluffy white stuff since yesterday there is fun to be had here at Mountain Creek on our 43 trails across all 4-mountain peaks. Be sure to update your kits with all of the latest and warmest technologies by stopping into Monkey Trails or The Showroom for 25% off of clothing. Both stores have everything you need for day full of fun including hats, gloves, goggles, facemasks and hand, toe & foot warmers! chietanen
As much as I love the cold, snow and tracking storms, I'm really craving to get out on my road bike. Definitely starting to feel a bit of cabin fever. I've been doing a lot of skating, but it's not quite enough. Planning to bundle up tomorrow, strap on the snowshoes and head out for some hiking in the Mount Beacon area. Should be a nice snow pack up there.
