Animal
looks like Mt Holly NWS upped totals slightly. 320 update, WWA for 4 to 6 inches. If I can hit 4, I would be impressed.

chietanen
It's good that the WAA stuff is over performing because it looks like we will miss out on the Norlun. Plus I don't think the coastal will throw moisture this far west.

ENYsnow
Well, I've had enough of this storm. Bring on the howling arctic winds. The evolution of the squall line will be pretty cool but other than that and the low temps I'm on to Tuesday night. GFS coming in way east unfortunately but the potential is still there. GFS coming in way east unfortunately but the potential is still there. Not sure why the continued excitement for this system. Other than a little WAA and a nice squall line, it looks like a dud for almost everyone, save for the few that may be affected by the eventual Norlun. And even that looks like a few inches at best. In any event, the squall line looks stout across CNY and PA. Let's see what happens as it crosses the mountains.
IrishRob17
2.0" new, steady light snow still in spite of the lack of radar returns, all eyes on the squall line though.

snowman19
Check those soundings it's already breakingThe clouds are breaking up in Rockland with this dry slot. Take a look at the HRRR simulated radar, that squall line breaks apart, really decreases in intensity and moves through the area very quickly. This should all be over before 3am

snowman19
I zoomed in to the Rockland and Orange areas on the HRRR and boy does that band weaken as it comes across the Appalachians, unimpressive echoes as it quickly moves through if that model is correct
White Gorilla
I think we are done apart from a few snow showers later. Heavy precip stays to South and East, as usual. I said around an inch for POU and pretty much on target. It's a true wintry scene out there.
