dendrite
ripping in Lowell, heaviest of the day. Interesting to note that the heaviest snow has been taking place with the heaviest radar returns just to the eastUnder the beam drift. It's been pretty strong up here too with the strong NNE llvl flow all day.

sankaty
Snow winding down in Middletown. Still some flurries about. 13F. Assuming no more accumulation, storm total is 9.5". We had about 5.25" before the changeover, so the second half added about 4.25" of fluff. Total snow depth is around 20.5", which means we've had a snow depth of at least 20" at some point during four out of the last five winters. mostman
Really wasn't until the band pushed east of me that all hell broke loose.
OceanStWx
Surprised though we're still in steady snow given the hole we're under. Given how cold the air mass is you've probably got the snow growth zone tickling your roof top.

I guess that's why many in the interior today were surprised similarly. Makes sense.

OceanStWx
Ekster was just pointing this out at the office, thought some might enjoy it here. You can see enhanced echoes moving into western NH now (arrival of the vort max), and as it does so the band is beginning to pivot over extreme southwestern ME. Coastal ME should rip for the next couple of hours.
DomNH
10.5'' after the last half hour to hour of near-whiteout snow.
