SR Airglow
From TWC NYC? Bust lol. Manhattan got between 4 and 5 this morning, classic zookeeper undermeasuring. There's a spotter on the UWS who always is dead on and he reported 4.7" plus LGA was at 5.2" and they flipped to rain around the same time. RUNNAWAYICEBERG
Picked up 5" since 2pm.
mostman
Pretty rare to have visibility like this without serious winds.
moneypitmike
Albany radar has blossomed so hopefully one more round. Still -sn/sn here with no returns on the beam. I need less than .5" to join you in the foot club. Yeah--I hadn't seen that rejuvenation the HV. That's the type of thing that frequently can't find it's way over the hills. Though this system has had it's curve balls.
sankaty
8.5" inches new snow depth. About 3.25" of that has fallen since changing back to snow. Still snowing heavily, so we'll probably get 4" out of round two.
DavisStraight
Indeed! Just wait til you see the band in action. Will bring back memories! Its edging into my area now, waiting by the patio door for it.
HIPPYVALLEY
Ray. And Lunenberg. I think you got it, it just blew around a little. Now if we can only get a nice amped up EC later this week, I'll by pumped. Lift the D- of yesterday into the realm of C/C-. Wow, tough grader. If Thurs works out I'm handing out B's for the mid-winter report cards. I have multiple 12-14" measurements in the driveway I just want to have my un-official board hit 12". lol
Heisy
Jealous as hell...I'll end up moving out there and you guys will go through a snowless stretch
Mr. Windcredible!
Indeed! Just wait til you see the band in action. Will bring back memories! Flakes size just increased here, finally moving over. Don't think we'll get it for 2 hours like they had back over the I-91 corridor, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts! TheSnowman
That band looks like 3"-4" Per Hour. If we stripe through it right I could get my SECOND 15" Storm in a week. I would have to LOOK UP MY STATS FOR THAT One!
HIPPYVALLEY
I told my wife working in HVN that things would improve after 2pm. Will she say "wtf? isn't it your job to know?" lol

CapturedNature
Awesome rates under that band. I just drove from Enfield to Stafford, CT under it. I couldn't see 1/10 at points and when I did get home, my wife said she shoveled 15 minutes ago and there was already 2" down.
codfishsnowman
Forgiven. actually for down here on the front end stuff he was dead on about poor snow growth, if we had had slighty better raios for the first ten hrs of the event wed be well over a foot but thankfully that fifty minutes of ccb love put us dangerously close to a foot...rates were easily at 3-4 per hour while it was on
ariof
BOS went from 30F to 11F in 3 hours. 30 to 14F in 2 hours. CF FTW! This screenshot from Wundermap shows the Coastal Front so well.

The 4 Seasons
SR Airglow, I would normally think that was fine because most people busted low on this but that was just posted a minute ago on twitter, LGA had 5.2 has of 7AM and the park had less but they def got more and why post 1-3 final when 2.5 has already fallen lol. Zeus
Jealous as hell...I'll end up moving out there and you guys will go through a snowless stretch A buddy of mine moved here from Atlanta this year to experience the New England winter after me teasing him for years. ariof
Kind of amazing what that snow band has done to Long Island and the HVN-BDL corridor. Could be some impassable, drifted-over roads there tonight.
