SR Airglow
Roads here are turning into a disaster. The evening commute is going to be brutal if not impossible. Wonder if we have classes tomorrow? Lots of public districts already closing.
weathafella
What an utter pummeling! Every time it drops to moderate it picks back up. Banding looks sweet for maybe another few hours. 18 would be amazing and indeed possible.
Bruinsyear
Snowing harder here then anything I witnessed during the blizzard. Pretty intense stuff the last half hour! What a 10 days stretch between the storms and the Pats!
weatherwiz
The best kind of fail very true Wiz, you said 4-7 but you meant 14-17 It's just ripping out there. Even shocked it's going on this long...I thought we would be done much earlier...also why I went lower. Looked like models worked in drier air aloft during the early afternoon but I guess not. The 4 Seasons
Radar just blossoming west of me right now, still +SN. Curious to see how much fell after we transitioned to sleet and this started.
moneypitmike
Looks like good times will be rolling on out east. It's still coming down 'below the radar', but I'm calling it a day in GC. 12" should do it.

At least 2 more hours of this stuff to go and that plus some light stuff on the end will do it.

Mr. Windcredible!
sankaty must be getting pummeled in Middletown right now. Reflectivities approaching 40 dbz in that band. I wouldn't be shocked if some spots in that I-91 corridor from Milford up to Meriden back down to East Haven/Branford have picked up 5" in the 2 hours or so. Digityman
As of 3:35PM. Brunswick ME. 7.2" of snow. We were at times snowing at 2.2" per hour. Looking at the radar here comes another heavy band. We have been filling in for awhile to keep us at SN- to SN. Now back to SN+ here at this time of post. Looks like that heavy snow is rotating up this way. Would be nice to get under that for at least a couple hours.

Mr. Windcredible!
The southern portion of that band is starting to pull east on LI...me thinks by the time the middle of that band finally creeps in here it's gonna be short lived unfortunately. Been fun to watch though!
Clinch Leatherwood
dreaded flash freeze materialized. It's a skating rink out there. Enormous puddles are freezing over. Snow falling much more significantly than radar shows, this shi* is getting serious now. I don't know how they'll have school tomorrow.
