Modfan
Jeez. Is that big black hole no precip or is it not that cut and dry? If so, then that will pretty much seals the deal for me not getting much more here. You still have a chance with the stuff south of NY

Snowedin
Winds are backing and colder air coming down. True cstl front about to enter Suffolk county. That's great to hear. I was worried we would end up with a quick 4-5" before a changeover to sleet/rain, which would likely freeze up solid later by the early evening. I suppose I do have a slight advantage being 200' or so off the ground but the big helper here has been the deep cold air entrenched over our region. weathafella
Coastal front must've moved south of me. Went from 25 to 18 in Cambridge in the last hour or so. Very light precipitation now; waiting on that batch southwest. Hope the screw hole closes. Still dumping here in JP.

Looks like about 2" new, though hard to tell from the office window as wind is blowing it off the cars. Still same temp, but visibility is lower (1/8 mile) and wci now -24. Won't even guess at accum, but will find out in half an hour, due to early release.
