TheSnowman
Been stuck at 8" for 2 hours and 30 minutes after I was ahead of everyone in New England outside of Lunenburg, that god forsaken place of snow that wins Everything.
Max
Easily 2" /hr stuff right now. Great flake size too. That band also expanded and intensified a bit as it got up to us. Probably aided by that thermal gradient at 925 and 850.

weathafella
Continues moderate to occasionally heavy snow. We should approach 15 at storm's end.
Snowedin
Mix line is literally just a few miles to our south by the looks of the radar. I'm impressed that we've stayed as nearly all snow through this one despite predictions of a changeover by noon. This is undoubutedly a deep cold air mass that's over the area and I hope it stands firm through the rest of the aftn. Oh and I'd estimate about 6" new snow has fallen so far. Not too bad! Cold Miser
Back to snow lol. I must be in some depressed sleet zone. and you're about 5 miles away. unbelievable. Going on about 3 hrs of sleet.
Mr. Windcredible!
Upton needs to put down the crackpot this winter. I've had 4", which seems to be the norm for HVN on east along the shoreline...yet their snowfall graphic updated at 12:10pm shows a storm total of 8-10" for the shoreline, 10-14" inland. They used to be very conservative...but they've sure been drinking the kool-aid the last year or two.
leesun
That band also expanded and intensified a bit as it got up to us. Probably aided by that thermal gradient at 925 and 850. By the look of the radar, we should be able to get 12"+
Mr. Windcredible!
Looks like surface temps have finally maxed out. We were up to 27...but dropped back to 25.5 over the last 30 minutes.

Max
There looks to be two surface lows competing to the south of SNE. One is just east of Atlantic City and the other is southeast of Napeague. I hope the one down off the Jersey coast wins out.
