BuffaloWeather
Just dug a pathway for the deer as I have been feeding them lately. We have a 11-12" snow depth(Concrete). The board is also ready to start measuring! Here we go.
Whitelakeroy
I am getting more excited about this February. I really think today's blockbuster storm is a good sign for all of us. Yes even our CMH friends I think your time will come. We have had such a boring dry pattern since mid-September. Today's storm I think is the beginning of a wetter period for the GL/OV region. I am not saying were going to be much above on the total precip but at least not nearly as DRY!!!! I was getting nervous that this change would take until sometime in March but watch the latest model trends it looks to be a bit more active now in February. Stebo
Not to take away from tonight, but the GFS drops in another storm for next weekend with another wide swath of snow, at this point it is a bit further north than the current swath. The GFS has had a storm for that period on 4 runs but 06z and the 18z runs were north with the 12/00z runs over the Lakes.
cyclone77
Now up to over 32" of snow for the season. That's pretty close to seasonal average. Things were looking very bleak during the 5 week span starting around Thanksgiving, but a nice clipper and a monster snowstorm erased the memories associated with that abysmal time period. Could be a minor event wed/thurs for MO/IL/IN/OH as well. 0z NAM/GGEM a little stronger than GFS.

Yeah there are 2 clippers between and next weekend, the Euro also paints a similar swath of snow to the GFS this run as well.

snowstormcanuck
This storm basically cements 2014-15 as a "non-garbage" winter. Third in a row. Haven't had that locally since 02-03, 03-04, 04-05.

Geos
Like the train going through the new snow video! -9° for a low this morning here. High of 15°. Lot of snow piles along the roadways 3-5' high. Have to be real careful at some intersections because hard to see around the corners.
