Drifts are massive in spots. Up near my fence out back they're about 2' and higher. Meanwhile one spot around the big pine tree is only like 4-5" with some spikes of grass showing around the trunk. We've had our heaviest snows of the day since noon. The last few hours have been snowing hard and I live about 4 miles due west of Mitchell International. I don't see the returns west of Detroit sliding over, but it looks like a slot of drier air is working up into the state. Are my eyes (hopefully) playing tricks on me? It's just a radar thing. Radar shows me in the blues now instead of the greens ... visibility here is about 1/2 mile. No worries. If visibilities were a mile or more then I would be concerned.
