RAC and ENW reporting +SN. I'd expect all of NE IL to reporting +SN in the next hour or two.

It's borderline +SN here now.

Around 9" here. Really tricky to measure this snowfall.

Flake size has gotten better since 11:30 or so. Pretty sure the conditions over the lake are continuing to improve for lake enhancement.

Few pictures from about an hour ago.

35˚ and light rain, so that'll do it here for this storm. Could have been worse I guess.

How much you end up with?

Stuck at 34 and snow here.  Not much accumulation since this morning.  Last I measured this morning before some melted we were at 6.5".  A few degrees colder we'd probably be at 10".  Happy with what we have.

Quick shot out the back window.  Snowing too hard to be outside shooting pics at the moment.  Sorry for the crappy quality.

Three large sections of the back tree now on the ground lol.

EDIT:  The wind cups on the weather station are cemented in, so I'll be reporting calm conditions for the next week or two lol.

DISCUSSION...SFC LOW IS PROGRESSING EAST ACROSS CNTRL IL WITH
POSITION JUST SOUTH OF BMI AT 19Z. A WELL-DEVELOPED EAST-WEST SNOW
BAND...ROUGHLY 150 MI WIDE...EXTENDS NORTH OF THE LOW TOWARD THE WRN
PART OF LAKE ERIE. SNOW RATES ALONG THIS CORRIDOR SHOULD EASILY
APPROACH 1 INCH PER HOUR AS WARM ADVECTION/ASCENT BEGIN TO SPREAD
TOWARD THE LOWER GREAT LAKES. ADDITIONALLY...COOLER PROFILES ACROSS
LOWER MI COULD RESULT IN LOCALLY HIGHER SNOW RATES...PER SFC
TEMPERATURES HOVERING IN THE LOWER 20S.
LATEST SHORT-RANGE MODEL
GUIDANCE IS IN GENERAL AGREEMENT SFC LOW SHOULD TRACK TO JUST NORTH
OF IND BY 02/00Z...THEN INTO NERN OH NEAR CAK BY 02/06Z. HEAVIEST
SNOW SHOULD REMAIN NORTH OF THIS PROJECTED TRACK WITH SUBSEQUENT
HEAVIER RATES SPREADING INTO WRN NY LATER THIS EVENING.
