packbacker
So, now I get upgraded to 6-8" on DT's call map... DT says go big.....we need the overrunning to hit us, the coastal is iffy.
Cold Rain
Are you going to hand out the cheese to someone today? I probably deserve it more than anyone else today. Well, except maybe 10Below. He's a good candidate for it.
metalicwx366
Who's this cheeze guy from ATL ? I've never seen somebody so sure about it not snowing before!!? Is he like the Glenn Burns ?Come on you have heard of Cheeznado. He is probably right. TWC forecast shows Atlanta getting 0 and to the NE getting 4 inches. SN_Lover
This is just my take on it. This is going to be the storm of busts and overperformers. Overperformers are those in the heavy band that will set up and will be cold enough for snow. Busters will be on or south of the rain/snow line. There will be people who will be angry and their will be people that are thrilled. NAM says CLT might be sad, who knows. Im sure this storm is going to be full of surprises seeing as i have never seen a "snow map" verify completely. Buckle up and enjoy the roller coaster yall! CaryWx
DT says go big.....we need the overrunning to hit us, the coastal is iffy. Depending on overrunning to score big here pack? Maybe Charlotte but doubtful Raleigh. We have to have the coastal, just not too wound up or too close.
mackerel_sky
At your house of course....S of I-85True story! But I've heard you have to be able to smell the rain, to get the heaviest snow, my S of 85 may help for a change ! Having mixed feelings, but the finger of precip Lookout showed would help immensely !

packbacker
Depending on overrunning to score big here pack? Maybe Charlotte but doubtful Raleigh. We have to have the coastal, just not too wound up or too close. We could just miss on both or hit both. The models never do well with how far north the over running gets. I remember last Feb that saved us. The coastal could have a nasty deform band, whoever gets that will clean up.

J.C.
I'm wondering how much temperatures are going to rise tonight, not that it really matters much here around CAE. Why forecasters are projecting a drop by a few degrees tonight boggles the mind. Clouds aren't going anywhere and humidity levels are 95%+. I don't think anybody is going to see any sun tomorrow either, so I can't imagine a slight shift to a 3 mph ESE wind is going to drive temps up to the 40s for everyone either. We shall see. SnowDeac
I feel like CLT is going to get 6+ or next to nothing (perhaps nothing). I'm normally not one to weenie, but am getting very nervous. Seems like the potential negatives are outweighing the positives. HELP.
mackerel_sky
I don't think I have ever wanted Robert to be more right with a forecast , than with his latest snow map!!!! I'm all up in the 8+
NC_WX10
WxJordan. Same exact thought. haha. Fairly big spread between the mets on here for our area. I think the low total a met has for us is like 1-3 and i've seen up to 4-8.
