sparklecity
Getting a little irritated with higher totals consistently skipping over the upstate on the nam. Hope that is wrong. On the other hand, I'm kind of glad not to be in the jackpot zone after remembering last year.

sparklecity
On the highres nam I consistently have a little green dot over mby for only 2". It's like it's aware of exactly where I live lol. Reminds me of when I was in Clemson for 2004 storm. Barely got anything there, but Spartanburg gets 10". Now it will prob be reversed.
packfan98
Clean up in the pbp thread!! -PackGrad is shaming my alma mater -Burger and packbacker both have reasonable evidence. Please don't fight about it. It's like two brothers fighting to us SE regulars.

This is going to be a widespread .50 - .75 event it looks like for many. Worst case you end up on the low end of like 3 inches. In this winter that's a big win. He does this every year and always tries to start something with me. OK, fine...but just come out with what the problem is already instead of doing all this passive aggressive crap year after year. Tony Sisk
I-385 heading into Greenville is a traffic mess. I couldn't believe the extreme difference in my house in Taylors (around Wade Hampton Blvd area) and Butler Rd Mauldin. It was pouring huge flakes, the roads were covered, a good inch plus when I left the house. Got to Butler Rd to drop off my wife and it was barely a dusting. I'm hoping we can pull out 6". I would consider that a great snow.

WidreMann
It's funny to be watching it snow at 21 degrees while also looking at the latest models for another snowstorm. This is NC, right?
Solak
Where can I get some of this 'insider knowledge'??? Anyone, Bueller? PackGrad05, on 24 Feb 2015 - 09:33 AM, said: This is when meteorology outweighs modelology... Having experience in this area gives you a lot of insider knowledge into what is actually going to happen.. That's why I'm going with more rain than snow for RDU. Rain to begin with, changing to some snow...1-2 inches.
weatherfide
Looks like a good old fashioned rainstorm incoming for Atlanta. 100% likely now. I knew it was going to go north. I have to have the snow shield almost completely to my south in order to feel confident about snow. I don't think it's done adjusting north, though. Yeah and to think today actually busted in our favor for a change. Snowing nice here right now and we have a ways to go yet east of 95 here. Hoping for 1-2 and really hoping for 2-4 today. Thursday is going to be close and we need the NW trends to stop now for my area to cash in.

LOL, you couldn't let it go could you, and I am passive aggressive. You do this crap every year, spouting stuff that's wrong and then not letting it go. I love how people instantly can't wait to tell you the model run sucks for your backyard. We know it sucks for RDU for pretty much every model run, places like CLT to GSO continue to clean up. Enjoy your events, we don't need you cheering for RDU bust, those happen with ease.
sparklecity
Anyone else getting weird vibes for this storm? I know last year I was ecstatic leading up to the storm with turned into much disappointment. I'm just having a hard time getting a feeling for this one, maybe it's the lack of sleep. Dunkman
This seems like a good rule of thumb. If your post has a smiley in it then it probably shouldn't be in the model thread.
