Jonathan
Just a quick map I threw together for fun on my Galaxy Note Edge. (I didn't do ice) Anyone else make a map?
Snow dog
I think you should be paying more attention to what's going on in TX. This is going to be a major system in the upstate. Maybe even more snow than anyone is expecting. I would gladly take 33 and rain over what's likely coming here tomorrow. I really don't wanna be in the dark for the next 3-4 days with overnight temps in the single digits....

JacobNC
With the snow/ice coming in, the extreme cold coming at the end of the week is being overlooked. If the forecast holds, RDU will see its coldest temperature in 19 years.
sparklecity
It's nice having clear skies and calms winds the night before the storm arrives. Temps are dropping like a rock. Only 4 or 5 degrees from our predicted low tonight. Hoping the clouds thicken up around dawn. I'm getting excited about the possibility of 3/4-1" of fzrn! If our temps don't get above 30 tomorrow we could be in trouble.
superjames1992
What's the NAM gonna do? Any guesses? It's going to drown us in tears. Whether that's tears of joy or tears of sadness is the question.

superjames1992
I think I'm going to take time off from freaking out about weather models to watch Downton Abbey from 9-10. Oh, the humanity. Well, I am supposed to be coding in SAS right now for a project, but that's not working out too well, anyways. The NAM was more important.

I'm hoping I'm not going to get insulated all night with borderline temps.
Tony Sisk
Care to explain why you think this? It's coming in quicker and stronger than expected. It seems to be drawing in the upper low rather than the other.
jshetley
If the nam is right SC is out of this except maybe for above highway 11. And precip totals took a big cut with this run.Dare I say that if this continues NC may get left out too.
