I should probably make myself go to bed now before the Euro knocks me out at 1:30 with a sucker punch to the nuts.

Warning , wish casting alert: I hope / believe this will continue trending South!! Someone said UKMet or GGEM was a good precursor to how Euro would look!?

Our main storm really blows up as it heads to the NE, pushing the cold air down fast and furious. It would likely be very windy too.

Which means that those of us in the cad areas had better hope it warms enough and long enough to melt any zr off of the trees or we will have more problems after the storm than during it.

yep. plus It's been so long since we have had a major ice storm in some areas, I've wondered just how much tree damage would occur from a major one.  It probably wouldn't be good. certainly wouldn't be if there was a lot of high winds.

I can tell you last year exactly the icestorm down here with just 20 mph wind really made a bad situation into a nightmare with tree limbs and while trees coming down along with the power lines.

Can anyone catch me up please? Is there a Thursday storm anymore or are we hoping for someone to cash in with the Tuesday cutter?

The Tuesday cutter may not be a cutter after all... Apps runner is still on the table but all of the models have been trending south.
