Mine are figure skating, gymnastics, and music. Definitely winter weather is a passion. Beyond that, in no particular order: softball, photography, chess. Mine are figure skating, gymnastics, and music. photography, golf and currency. Currency has taken a back seat lately, but it's still a big interest of mine. I have hopes of getting back into fishing. Used to being a fishing addict and still have a few rod/reel combos along with all of my other gear, but haven't used it in awhile. I read a lot, especially history/politics, I was also big on camping and hiking when I was still living out west, haven't really had the chance to do those things here yet. 87storms Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 i definitely thought i was a rarity regarding obsessing over snowstorms (or weather in general) until i came across weather forums (particularly eastern). i had friends growing up who certainly watched the weather forecasts and dialed the infamous 1212 number (the equivalent of george michael's sports machine), but i didn't know anyone who would actually get anxious about snow and watched the radar, etc. i actually like what the internet has done for my hobby. it's helped take some of the unknown/mystery out of the weather. i now have a pretty good idea of what types of storms are good for this area and what we need, and i love having all the data available. it's like if you play a sport, you want to have options for where to play and what type of gear to wear. the internet has created options for this hobby, and that's a good thing.
