Awww, thanks. Haven't been in any pain, just leaky ears for 2, yes 2, months. Remnant of that head cold that so many people got in December.

You wanna enjoy the really bitter cold? Come to Albany with us! Just checked their wx. Good God.. The only visible part of me, will be the bridge of my nose... PD birthdays are always problematic weather wise.

Well, that still sounds awful, so take care of yourself and get yourself better soon!  I had a nasty sinus infection years ago, with the classic "teeth hurting" pain.  My nose was clogged for the longest time until it finally started to clear out...sneezed one day and it's like the flood gates opened up (TMI, I know!!!).  Ugh!  But that actually helped.

I hear you on the bitter cold, and I'm sure Albany isn't a picnic right about now!  I love snow and cold but certainly cannot "handle" the cold as much as I used to for long periods, when I could stay out in it for hours.  That was in Ohio, and we had plenty of bitter cold days to be sure.

I hear mattie g is even more furious about schools being closed for tomorrow due to the cold

I didn't even know about today's delays until one of my co-workers mentioned the delay in PW County for today.

It's beyond a joke at this point. I have hardly the strength to get upset about it, but it still eats at the very fiber of my being that a morning of 10 degrees warrants a delay. You have got to be f'ing kidding me.

Not long ago you were the biggest warm lover on the forum... now you think anyone who delays for single digit temps needs to grow a spine

I love warm weather, Fozz, but I can put appropriate clothes on and be fine out in this cold for a few minutes. Kids are a little more resilient than most give them credit for!

Balt City Schools Closed tomorrow. I was surprised about that. They usually don't close or delay much.

Unrelated....do you know if the state parks usually close for snow? Before terrapin, I stopped at sandy pt on Tuesday and it was closed despite the roads already being cleared. I was surprised.

Yeah, they are kind of iffy. Even local county parks are iffy after storms. State Parks usually put statuses on Twitter/Facebook, at least they did before.

If Maryland gets a decent shellacking of snow on Saturday, I'll be happy. Give em 9 inches, BlizzardNole, psuhoffman and others who did not get much snow on Monday. Tracker as well. We got this. We're gonna will it to verification, and Tracker will realize this is NO debbie downer winter and happily drop that sig as he spends HOURS digging out of deep snowpack
