What a game to be introduced to Maryland Basketball. My first game was when I was 9 years old and the Terps upset number 1 Virginia and Ralph Sampson in Feb. 1982.

Oh yeah, I have been going to games since elementary school back at Cole. My grandparents had season tickets, four rows off the floor. Pretty sure I was 9 or 10 when I went to my first game. I went to the ACC tourney in 2002. My mom was at the NCAA tourney that year and saw them win. I haven't been to one in a few years now, but use to go all the time.

Big Terp fans, football and basketball. My Mom goes to so many Terp sporting stuff, I can't even keep it straight.

I've meet numerous players, have had dinner with them, both at official events, and at my moms house. Bambale Osbey (or Boom) was a regular visitor. My mom makes scrapbooks for players every year, starts when they are freshman (or new recruits) until they graduate, then gets a new one. She does it for both football and basketball. So she has become good friends with a lot of these kids over the years. My sisters and I have had enjoyed the perks. :)

Ok so let me get this straight. This thing on Tuesday of next week is getting some good talk. My girls have school off tomorrow for a teacher work day and then are off on Presidents day. So this 4 day weekend may turn into a longer weekend...

Yup, better start baking things and sending them to me :).

Nice. Sounds like you got a great mom.
