dendrite
It's probably overjuiced a bit that run. On the 00z run as Juno was already underway, it still tried hammering me with 2ft+.
Damage In Tolland
euro is a crushing for alot of us I'm not sure if I'm the only one..since I've seen a a map that gives Se Mass a trace and others saying 10+ for most of interior SNE.. and others saying major ice storm What in the hell does it show? CoastalWx
That text product is weird. 850 temps at 00z should be cooler and warmer at 18z.

N. OF PIKE
Where does the euro have the 32 isotherm in ema tommorrow at 18z, anyone
ORH_wxman
Euro almost matches the RGEM now perfectly in the thermal profiles....within 10 miles or so anyway.
bobbutts
Looks like an unusually steep temp gradient for this with 40 to the S. Coast and parts of NNE near 0.
CT Valley Snowman
Man there is several models with this freezing line at 850 literally right over my back yard for 3-6 hours I may be seeing the whole kitchen sink here 2 miles east of the CT river and 2 miles south of the Mass border at the height of this storm. Cold Miser
I do, want to have the ground equal to the pool. lol. What are your thoughts for our area Steve? 4-8? When do you think the change over will occur, and for how long? Change back to snow?
powderfreak
It's probably overjuiced a bit that run. On the 00z run as Juno was already underway, it still tried hammering me with 2ft+. Yeah, but it like doubled QPF up here from 00z, lol. Although pretty good consensus up here between NAM/GFS/RGEM/GGEM/EURO of 0.5-0.7" QPF. Damage In Tolland
This might be the most difficult to forecast storm of the winter.
SouthCoastMA
Easy forecast here. 2-3" of snow followed by sleet then rain for about 6 hours before ending as flakes. Run of the mill SWFE
ORH_wxman
No jack here, but it's nice to get in on the higher end fun with the SNE crew. You might get a currier and ives jackpot...like 12"+ of fluff on 18 to 1 ratios. I haven't looked at thermal profiles that carefully up there, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone saw a ratio-induced jackpot up there while some place like Ray sees 12" of "man snow" with higher QPF. Clinch Leatherwood
3 straight fails. It's in a major rut. It probably nailed H5 though... Oh no doubt it scored #1 overall in January. It nailed today and yesterday here at the surface and aloft! That algo is kind of off but it is indicative of that particular model algo picking up on warmth. Red flag if it kept trending as it has.
