Very brief though...maybe an hour and at that time the goods have been delivered. It does seem to give eastern areas a little backlash.

I'm just hoping we can stay sub-freezing at the surface down here until most of the precip is done. NAM and Euro seem to suggest that will be the case. GFS and RGEM have us over to plain rain halfway through this thing. I know the GFS isn't great with low-level cold.  anyone know how the RGEM performs in such situations?

I was questioning that, too.  The RGEM has the 850 line tickling nearly the length of the CT/MA line at 15z tomorrow.
