SeVa
Finished at 5" snow a few hours ago. Sounds like we are all sleet now and getting some compaction. With the temps this week and sleet crust on top, I don't see this snow going anywhere fast.
Portsmouth Weather
Ended up with about 5 inches here as well in Portsmouth and with primarily snow, followed by sleet and a bit of freezing rain to coat it all.. Got as high as 29, but now back to 26 degrees
SeVa
Some decent returns look to push through the metro to end the storm. No idea though if that is sleet or not.
MidlothianWX
My final measurement puts me at 6.25" for the storm. I can't really say I'm all that disappointed, as I was expecting to be somewhere in the 6-10" range. The potential for more was certainly there, though. All in all, it's my first 6"+ event and fifth 4"+ event since February 2010.

MidlothianWX
What did the RIC airport measure? For whatever reason, the total was not reported in the latest PIS. We'll have to wait for the CLI this evening.
North Balti Zen
Thanks Midlothian. Curious for the seasonal contest. I went with what feels now to be way too high for Richmond at 18" and am hoping that this storm cut into that by a fair amount...
RIC Airport
Thanks Midlothian. Curious for the seasonal contest. VABILLUPS1
Anybody see that snow thump between 8p-9p this evening for Southside HR on the HRRR? Over .10 in an hour, brief but impressive.
eaglesin2011
Next Saturday and Sunday really starting to look like a big one for someone. Would be nice to get a surprise inch or two from this current storm but the air is just so damn dry here at the moment... Wiith the temps starting to rise it PROB Will make it just a sleet fest in most of the Ric for a few hour's.

rmcwahoo
Looks like today will be a classic "DC hit/Richmond miss" situation. I can't complain too much with still a solid 6 inch snowpack on the ground that has been here the entire week. That's pretty rare in these parts. We should definitely look more at Monday and then turn eyes to next weekend as well
SeVa
Nice north trends on the NAM, but I don't think the NAM has much weight outside of 36hrs.
