WxUSAF
How often does western HoCo only get a WWA? Interesting It's the new zones. NW HoCo is a separate zone from the rest of the county now.

RevWarReenactor
Hard to believe it was 15 degrees when I left the house this morning and I am looking at mixing. Don't expect much. I've seen these things 100 times where the precip looks amazing and so close and then it gets over the mountains and poof. Maybe a coating of mood flakes/sleet. eurojosh
That looks significantly healthier on radar than the model guidance led me to believe it would. Looks like mostly rain, though, DCA south, given temps...

Edit: Then again, Martinsburg jumped 2 degrees when it started raining so who knows.

das
im guessing my commute is going to suck? Mine as well. Ugh. 31.5F in Clarksburg (with a DP of 12F!) and precip made it over the mountains. Wife says 100% snow cover still and ice on the sidewalk and driveway is still frozen rock solid.

Edit: Then again, Martinsburg jumped 2 degrees when it started raining so who knows. Roadway temps are up a little (http://www.chart.state.md.us/travinfo/weatherstationdata.asp) and there is 1 million pounds of salt per roadway mile so that may help. These super-low DP's won't help elevated surfaces though.
