packbacker
I'll take my chances with this. (00z UKMET, hr 120) BTW, Happy Fab Feb to all. May it be a memorable one! Interesting to see the SLP sandwiched between 2 HP's.
NCSNOW
Good job Burrell and I agree. I beleive if.. when euro changes it will go more toward the ukie, cmc idea. Just a hunch. Hopefully it works out in our favor. Getting ready to cross into 4 day out territory.
CaryWx
Most of you folks better hope the euro stays right where it is for about another 3 runs. If it starts to move that moisture north we'll all be saying hello Frankfort or Iowa City by Tuesday.
sctvman
KJZI is a better representation for charleston than CHS, just FYI guys. Yep. That's Johns Island, while CHS is in North Charleston. Crazy solution with what is shown.
burgertime
GEFS looks better and also looked to almost phase. Probably some interesting members in there.
deltadog03
Of course here in GA I prefer the GFS solution over the Canadian, but still want to see the Euro come on board for any of us to get too worked up over this system... I agree..I will EAT my words, but I WANT/NEED to see some drunk doc support.
SN_Lover
Ensembles for the GFS look okay. 18z ens were better imo.
Stormsfury
IF IF IF the GFS Para (new GFS) sniffs this out and scores a win, I'll begin to respect the upgrade. In all honesty, this solution actually would not surprise me as much as normal. An old saying of what happened in November, February will remember. I also hate being jackpot 5 days out as well. On an unscientific note, last year I got my tax refund the same day (Feb 12) as the nasty icestorm hit. I'm slated to get mine this year on Friday. burgertime
Euro keeping that southern vort together better on this run....it's a step at least.
burgertime
Euro keeps that ball of energy going across FL. Of course the cold air is a little too slow.
burgertime
Euro actually has snow in WNC @120.
Cheeznado
The southern vort really is mostly irrelevant here, its the vort digging in from the NW which will give is snow if it can dig far enough west but too far. The new Euro has taken a step in that direction, a good sign.
burgertime
TN gets 2-4 it looks like......energy looks robust. WNC gets in on the 2-4. CLT might be the jackpot this run.
burgertime
GA doesn't fare to well on this run. NC is gonna be the winner.

mackerel_sky
Quite a Northern trend in one run, the Euro
NGA WINTER
GA doesn't fare to well on this run. NC is gonna be the winner. Didn't expect much different haha. But if you take a blend of all models right now, it's a good setup. I like my chances down here. But a lot of time for it to slip away, or get better. That's why this is so fun. superjames1992
Euro clown: GSO: 1.4" CLT: 1.8" Boone: 2.3" Most of NW SC is in the 1.5-2.5" range. Definitely a much better run.

strongwxnc
2 feet of snow for parts of se-SC.You are correct. If true, the entire SC coastline gets rocked per the 06 GFS! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tacoma
You are correct. If true, the entire SC coastline gets rocked per the 06 GFS! Sent from my iPhone Frank Strait thinks there will be fun and games as he calls it with the storm at the end of the week, he thinks because of the ridge out in the Atlantic that there will be a north west trend during the up coming week and possibly give the northern fringe of which could make it up into nc and va because of the ridge which would cause the storm to move or trend northwest with wintry precipitation. burrel2
06z GFS ensemble members look great. I would say 3/4 of them give some kind of wintry precipitation to CAD areas. Game on! Oh yea, and the dgex really likes Lookout's backyard.
