Ginx snewx
Yeah see that just gives me a seizure. I can't read info like that. When you are the Sultan of Scrolls, you can do stuff like that.lol, if you look on the Box home page it's nice and neat. I don't see any bad data in either month, cripes some COOPs are near 100 ,not a stretch. You not being home for the stormstorms mean you probably miss some. I would not doubt you are near 100 in two months
CoastalWx
The total that looks higher than most surrounding areas was the storm yesterday...they have 21.6" when most areas were in the 15-17" range. But that's gonna happen every now and then. It happens a little here and there, but it adds up. Hey I understand their prestige for record keeping etc and I can understand if they were higher by 10 to even 15%, but being almost 20-25% higher seems a bit weird to me. I know snow measuring is difficult, but storms like yesterday scratch my head. They had almost 22" like places on the south coast? BS.

BostonWX
I interned up at BHO a few summers back. I can't imagine them measuring drifts, and the snow measurement process isn't actually in one spot. It's an average of several places around the observatory instrument area. You never know though. BostonWX
Plus, the people up there are OBSESSED with data accuracy. I don't think there's any slant sticking going on and I don't think they're measuring in drifts.

ariof
This all seems bantery, but I believe one of the observers up there spent some time up at KMWN in the winter. If anyone knows how to measure wind-driven snow, it's them. (Of course, after Hurricane Irene, their estimated rainfall—very estimated given the winds—was 6.66 inches.) CoastalWx
Alright I'm dumb. I was thinking the total Since jan 24, not jan and feb. If that is the case it makes more sense. Still a bit high, but that's in the variance error box if you will. My fatigue is catching up to me. My fault, I apologize lol.
