Damage In Tolland
Euro sort of track the low right over southern SNE and then bombs it out. Looks like NE Mass gets into warning snows..with 2-4 for the rest of us and maybe even some rain along the coast during part of it. Let's see if we can dig this thing a little more like the NAM and track it south of us..That would make everyone happy

weathafella
There is an inverted trof signal as the low departs once it hits he ocean. We'd like to see more digging and today's runs should be close to the final solution which is at least a few inches for all.
CoastalWx
This could mix to BOS with SE winds initially. It might just be cold enough, but SE winds ahead of it. I don't think it's something that bombs out and curls back snow at the moment.

Lava Rock
28.50" yesterday, 65.70" season, Oh yeah, Clipper friday coastal monday, You could say that........lol gonna be running out of places to put it. Not a bad thing though. I've got a ton of snow on the deck that I'm contemplating shoveling off. Wondering if I'd be ok to leave it. 2x10's underneath spaced 12" apart. Pretty sure weight of snow is not an issue, but if we get any rain in the future, could be a problem. I'll probably just shovel it tonite.

There are calculators online for dead weight on a floor and moving weight. I did a lean to for some one and calculated that a 4 x 4 every 7' square will hold 3' of snow at 10:1, with 2 x 10's for joists. you should be good, unless we get two more 20" snowfalls and then rain! Chrisrotary12
Right now this Friday event looks like it should be a coastal Maine event with much lighter snows everywhere.......but it is pretty close to being a bit bigger for SNE.
TheMainer
too bad I can't push it off with railing in the way. Up north everyone i know has a peice of railing that can be slid out to push snow off of on good sized decks. Works great if you build it right. Digityman
too bad I can't push it off with railing in the way. I have a front porch (uncovered) that's 10' wide by 34' long. After shoveling that for 5 years and cursing the railing everytime, this year I decided to remove the railing from both sides. I rebuilt the sides so they can be removed with 4 screws each. Much easier moving 2' feet of snow.

ORH_wxman
The H5 trough has definitely trended south on this the past 24-30 hours. There could be some surprise goodies for eastern and especially northeast MA into SE NH for SNE. Maine will be the best spot overall, but for SNE, this could have some suprises...I'm pretty impressed with how deep the H5 low gets as is goes south of RI/SE MA.
