TauntonBlizzard2013
WWA advisory for 3-6" here. Seems a bit bullish
Cold Miser
Funny. Never said that. Just tone it down, kehd. It's all about the spin. If Kevin sees more than 3" out of this, I will buy him 1/3rd of 1/2 of a beer at the next gtg.
weathercoins
Also under a WSW here, with Cambridge specifically mentioned in the warning, for 4-8". 4" might happen total, but I highly doubt we hit 6", even adding the two totals
ORH_wxman
Here we go again...this is like that small event earlier in January where Kevin insisted that there would be a lot of 4" amounts and I think there was basically none outside of a random lolli in Litchfield county. Tomorrow A.M. is going to be mostly 1-2 with lollis to 3"...4" would be really rare I think until you are up into CNE/NNE where terrain may aid more and ratios become higher. tamarack
Are these amounts only good through Friday AM or do they assume through Saturday morning? Thru 1 PM Saturday. Gets better as one moves east, as the storm slows down for a 30+ hr event in eastern Maine.
Cold Miser
...Just went from Hazardous Weather Outlook To Winter Weather Advisory for my county, with a high end of 5". Before, the high end was 3". Seems a bit overdone in my limited, semi-non-professional point of view.

SR Airglow
Well according to the alert on my phone I'm under a WSW for 4-8"? Seems really bullish, thought the previous 3-5" advisory made much more sense. New map.

tavwtby
ALY upped my area to 3-4". Looking at the radar, it looks like it is digging a little further south than progged. Some nice radar returns in southern PA. Perhaps everyone got upped for a reason. Too bad this thing wouldn't slow down earlier.

Damage In Tolland
BOX just seems high IMO. You really need that low to tuck in closer. For western and central sections they're basing it all on what i described and the first round.
