KokomoWX
A nice system on the 18z GFS. I'd take a bowler...
Indystorm
It's fun to look at models and see what might possibly transpire like we all do, but seriously, after the northeast blizzard model bust wrt New York City because the storm moved farther east we all just need to remember that they are one tool among others. Hoosier
00z GFS looks like it may have a better organized/phased system than 18z. Edit: this may turn into one of the better runs yet

Chitown Storm
Some folks are gonna get rocked if the 00z GFS is to verify. Woah. Impressive how that run came together. Edit: a lot of folks

Snowstorms
00z GFS looks like it may have a better organized/phased system than 18z. Edit: this may turn into one of the better runs yet More phasing this run, yes! Trough is looking alot better. Its now taking on a more neutral look. Close to being a negatively tilted trough. Upper air winds are getting more supportive for a stronger jet streak as well on this run.
cyclone77
Even juicier than some of the more amped up GEFS T-snow posted earlier.
BuffaloWeather
GFS a fully phased bomb. Wow
Hoosier
GFS still leaves some energy behind. The previous runs of the GGEM that went ballistic basically ejected everything IIRC.

Chicago Storm
GFS still leaves some energy behind. The previous runs of the GGEM that went ballistic basically ejected everything IIRC. That energy can afford to be left behind with a second northern wave diving in to help.

andyhb
GFS a fully phased bomb. Wow Not quite, it would be painting 2'+ totals if it fully phased. This run is strongly driven by the strength of the northern stream shortwave.
Hoosier
Fairly cold storm too, looking at the raw output.
cyclone77
Love how slow this system moves through. Most areas get 24hrs of snow or more. Gotta love that.

Thundersnow12
The tilt of this baby is very impressive. Once the sfc low crosses the Mississippi River, it begins to strengthen fairly quickly and even drops 6mb in a 3hr time in northern KY heading to Cincy. Hoosier
Beauty on the GGEM. Resembles the GFS to a fair degree...more generous farther north though.

dan123
Resembles the GFS to a fair degree...more generous farther north though.Based on the b/w maps thru 144 looks like all the energy gets picked up by the northern stream. Correct me if I'm wrong.
