At approximately 1230am I measured a gust of 81 mph.   Not entirely trusting my stuff although it's great....   neighbor also measured 83 mph.  His stuff is legit, and he's been measuring here for 16 years.  These would be the peak gusts measured here for as long as the homes have been here.   There is considerable damage, mostly minor, some broken windows, many ruined fences, sidewall and roof shingles all over the place.

This exceeds all prior storms here for damage.  And I do believe it beat 05, and some spring rain gales for peak winds.

Sorry for not knowing, but where exactly are you Clinch? I have a house in E. Falmouth that I'm concerned about, hence my question.

ORH had a gust to 45 kt an hour ago..not too shabby. Still reporting +SN, despite what the radar shows. Same goes for here. Snowing better than what the radar shows. As for BOS obviously final total will depend on banding location. Right now they are still in nod-heavy band.

I'm guessing close to 30" here and snowing hard again. Drifts are incredible for how much of the yard they fill. Can't see last weekend's snow never mind grass anywhere. Been shoveling here for 18 years and nothing like it in a single storm. That includes a few great ones, 2013 included. There is just nowhere to put it in our urban neighborhood. Depth almost as great as early February 2011--and that was after several major hits. -7C/19F

Looks like the band hugging the coast is trying to push back wets a little bit now...we'll see if that comes back far enough to engulf much of E MA again.

These bands sort of wax and wane, but there's definitely still some good stuff in there

Well, I've lost interest in meteorology due to this storm. It's probably for the best since I am incompetent would never have gotten a good job in the field anyway with my worthless diploma from Western Connecticut State University. Ended up with 5.6" via the snowboard here but I think a little blew off so probably more like 6 or 6.5". The worst bust I've ever seen and it isn't close. Every TV met. should come on air and start with an apology like Geoff Fox in 2010:
