The pattern in storms with this timing is for BOS to have an abysmally low midnight reading vs the rest of the area, pretty low but closer at 7AM, ballpark by 1pm. My guess is their total will be 20.8 at 1pm. Of that's the case, with snow accumulating probably another 6 hours they can limp their way into a top 5..lol.

I cleaned ~ 6hrs my board, there was lots of blowing so later will need to measure in a bunch of spots, had about 6" before the storm.. I'm a few inches below you, you were in that band or at closer than me most of the night.

Notice the last few frames the deathband (now FINALLY positioned over me) seems to be expanding back west.  Thought it was about to die.

ORH Airport had 26.0 at 9:43 am. Mega band has collapsed but looks like stuff it trying to expand west again. Not sure how much more they see though.

hopefully we can get some analysis on how the low is stalling again or slowing down, reading last night about how far NE it was and that it was pulling away faster was tiring

I must have been under that band that nailed Worcester and Shrewsbury, haven't measured but has to be 20"+, nice drifting too.

huh? Social Media polled the general public who were affected by the storm and while boston is living up to it, nyc is not. Thats like 20 million people that were affected, schools shut down, business, the entire city....for a BUST.

Bigger flakes now!  Band coming in and its already heavy.  Amazing drifts and snow to watch!

 

Can't gauge how much I have but I'm over 20" and looking to top 24" but measuring is not even worth it with the wind.  Yard looks like sand dunes.

Top to bottom, my snow blower is 21"...my entire driveway was maxed out at 21" over an hour ago and we've probably picked up 1"-2" since. Moderate to heavy snow in Old Lyme.

Great storm for us, which is rare. I can sympathize with the dry slotters.
