At least now that Ray finally got into a deform heaven this snowstorm, he won't say it alwas hits central CT or GC every storm anymore.

Only most of the storms, but not all, lol.

Only a foot here, need something to happen. Bad. But The death band seems to be falling apart as the tip of it used to be below Long Island is him and now doesn't even touch the ocean in Connecticut but the middle of it is running over Worcester so will should be in great shape. I don't know how I get another foot.

Hard to tell with the drifts. I'll go out in awhile and measure, but 15" is a good guess.

We're up on the hill behind the town hall/ highschool.

Yeah the storm is going to become more banded as it occludes. We are starting to reach that point.

Boston had a had a 14.5 reading at 6:53. Logan had 11.8" at the same time.

 

It was definitely closer to the 15" reading at 7am here. Keep in mind it has been a whiteout since then.

Not sure what to make of the remaining potential from this system.  If we love the RGEM....it isn't much and this begins to march ENE steadily.  NOAA says no...  by and large it appears to be on the move.   RGEM backed off at 6z from moving out quite as fast, but euro choked up another giant turd at 0z. 

We will see, I don't see a stalled low..looks like it's still moving north to me.

It's snowing at about 3-4" per hour right now...it only takes another couple hours to sniff it. That total was also 7am.

There is 12 hours of the storm left, with the death band still going good. Of course they could hit 30.

Getting hit hard in Wakefield ( Greenhill Beach). Almost whiteout right now. Overnight gusted to 50, now 35. Surprised power hanging on.

Reading the NWS facebook pages....the real deflategate is in storm predicted totals....there are some very funny people out there that are very agitated this morning.  The "I survived the blizzard of 2015" meme with the yardstick was good...

Ok that was cool, wind went completely calm, spectacular snow growth and dumpage for maybe 10 mins, then i could hear a freight train sound and man did it roar, almost gust front, T-storm like for about 15 seconds.
