N. OF PIKE
Garth (Cold miser) is getting crushed by that band ...Huge totals for him I would assume
Clinch Leatherwood
TWC guy corrected himself with the mid level fronto... The three foot totals are going to be in that arcing band...very impressive.
CoastalWx
Haven't watched TWC in ages. Lots of boner commercials, and cruise ship commercials. Not what I remember growing up. I think steve/kev up to will/ray roughly is the max area. That band is persistent, the rest of us are dicking around in and out of the worst. The menace associated with the m/l to my south is struggling to pivot up and is beginning to suffer from shrinkage. I'm guessing the end game here will be 15-20"? That area may be a max by 12z but it snows right through the evening there so you play catch up and may exceed in spots.

OceanStWx
Thanks. I suspect to the south that is also some type of contamination - it isn't making steady progress. It's almost spiraling kind of in place. Well it's more or less hitting a wall. You'll definitely see mixing in the warm conveyor, but intense lift within it probably tends to erase that warmth pretty quickly.
TheSnowman
5.5" in the last 2 hours here in the 495 band 1" in the last hour. 7.25" Total. 8.5" OTG. I was supposed to be rocked. I'm off to bed. I might not even make a Foot for goodness sakes. I'm going to say Lowell is the Pivot point. Though Eastern LI are the winners so far for sure. wxsniss
Was wondering same about TWC and NYC... It's like they are on De Blasio's payroll Fookin 8 inch storm, give it up already, it was a horrible bust. Not sure we hit 20 here in Boston suburbs unless the heavier echoes over the islands swing through or the deformation band is sustained as this pulls east, which 6z NAM seems to do
N. OF PIKE
High tide in East bay Grill on TWC lol Hope the poster from NC is getting good footage at an exposed locale

N. OF PIKE
I wonder if this stuff moving into the death band will actually push the BAND NW or sorta expand it SE or maybe both lol.

Yeah - if we can keep it snowing tomorrow we'll clean up. There's a lot of snow here, saw 13" in Sandwich I'd say 12-18" in this area already. It's blowing 50 I'm not going out there! Well it's more or less hitting a wall. You'll definitely see mixing in the warm conveyor, but intense lift within it probably tends to erase that warmth pretty quickly. Yes, it looks like as it's pivoting on the w/v and radar it's expanding. High tide in East bay Grill on TWC lol Hope the poster from NC is getting good footage at an exposed locale He should go down the road 2 miles to the old Burts. The restaurant has an enormous boulder in the MIDDLE of it...got tossed in there from 1978 they left it as a reminder. Seidel would be crying ...rocks the size of grapefruits routinely flying through the air.
Clinch Leatherwood
what are the odds Seidel falls into the Atlantic ...40%? He's protected there, and I'm going to freak out of if he calls them barrier islands. They're not islands.

HimoorWx
Intensity really picked up here in the last half hour. I'm just east of 24 and about 2 miles south of 128. Pouring snow!
CT Rain
This storm is going to be an epic bust here and points west... but damn E CT is getting croaked. Good for them - not many jackpots out that way including Old Saybroook.
Clinch Leatherwood
This band coming over me now - I could hear it roaring it's way in. This may be the power line killer. Vis is maybe 50 feet? This is the heaviest of the storm here. Screens getting ripped out of my windows, branches bouncing off the house. Sometimes I yearn for Powderfreak's gentle snows. Clinch Leatherwood
RAY and others...watching seidel. THIS is where you want to be. This is Burts. Now imagine this during 1978 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZV2vPVEAqI

wxsniss
may be just noise but 6z vs. 0z RGEM slightly southwest ~ 10-20 miles Boston metro does a little better on edge of the mid level fronto band
40/70 Benchmark
I think Acton and Carlisle, just to my west, is actually ground zero...I'm catching the east edge.
Clinch Leatherwood
Again for those that have been watching and discussing Seidel. He is in the protected harbor to the north. If he came south to here https://goo.gl/maps/XHQUZ He would see some shi( that would win him an emmy right now. He'd also likely get arrested, or a boulder to the head. Clinch Leatherwood
One more for the storm chaser types. There's no better - but not really "safe" spot that the tv stations don't seem to remote at all, ever.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qmuFoIpYU0 Check out that footage too. It's right off 3a. But you've got to be careful because you will destroy your car. Some TV station some day will get award winning footage there instead of the same stupid shots of the bridges.
