lsukev
I've got light snow on gusty northeast winds. Am I crazy or does the radar look really good with those bands pushing north from south of DC? It looks nice. Just need the temp to drop. We've got the 850's. Jebman
I've got light snow on gusty northeast winds. Am I crazy or does the radar look really good with those bands pushing north from south of DC? My steady rain is your moderate snow! Enjoy it! You're going to get 9 inches thru Tuesday. The green bands are coming for you and will dump snow on your back yard all day long! You are near Baltimore right? Especially if you are north and east of Balto, look out for this beast known as a deformation band later tonight, you just may be far enough NE for it. In which case you just might need a yardstick to measure the snowpack lol. These green bands over me now, that are dumping steady rain, move very slowly. Once they get to you, you will see nonstop steady snow as the bands sit on top of your house for hours and hours and hours.

lsukev
From looking at the radar, you can really start to tell the inbound precip is changing trajectory. Hopefully that ushers in a little colder air. Also looks like it's going to squash all of the higher returns to DC's SW. http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=LWX-N0Q-1-

psuhoffman
Man, the radar is looking awesome. I'm getting ready to go all weenie. My fear is that precip associated with the upper level energy stays to our west as the easterly flow from the coastal takes over. Can already see it pivoting back now. Can already see it pivoting back now. I can see that too. It was modeled to do that too. Of course, over the past two days, almost every scenario has been modeled.
