smokeybandit
Add Anne Arundel to the list AA was closed due to an in-service day, not due to snow. Though I'm sure they would have closed due to this inch of snow
gymengineer
This storm is now in "sharing is caring" mode. The band to the west is spreading snow into areas that were previously skipped/fringed.
nw baltimore wx
1.7" total so far. Still snowing. 27. Long event for that total, but no complaints.
osfan24
Strange to see reports of such good snow in some of these bands. I'm in Eastern Hoco and it's been snowing pretty much the whole night and I think we have a half inch. But good for those of you getting it! A lot of us are getting more snow than Philly did. That's just wild.

Solo2
Looks like we've been split for hours out this way...but still collected about ~3.5" for the storm. I'll take it.

MN Transplant
1.6" on 0.25 precip. Long non-accumulating rates followed by tiny flakes equals a terrible ratio.
clskinsfan
I don't think I can ever remember it snowing for 30 hours straight and only ending up with 4 inches of snow. This has been one of the strangest storms ever. Light snow. 26. Storm total 4.

WxUSAF
Light snow in Columbia still! Probably had 1"+ overnight, but haven't measured and it looks like the wind has moved things around a bit. So, confidently over 2" for the storm, but I'll wait for the nearby spotters. Heard reports of 8"+ in Taneytown?

Herb@MAWS
Left Columbia at 5am for DC in moderate snow. I-95 in pretty good shape even with snow falling. Main roads mainly wet and a bit slick with snow falling but generally very drive-able.

Solo2
As a side note....some time before I die, can NWS fix the weather station at the FDK airport. In its history it has never recorded an accurate temperature.
vastateofmind
Awesome graph right there. Hell with Boston, best stuff looks to be out there in mid-north Atlantic... Thats pretty cool.... nice view of the whole storm and the back edge still trying to develop here down in NC/VA border

vastateofmind
Measured a storm total of 1.5" IMBY when I got up at 5, all of that falling overnight. Neighborhood roads were a train wreck on my trek to Ft. Belvoir but it appears that the mains/secondaries are mostly just wet this morning. astarck
1.25" on my patio table when I woke up here in South Arlington. Secretly hoping I lost some to compaction and wind and could record 1.5" depending on other reports around the area. And 1.25" of snow doesn't seem so bad when you were expecting 0". WVclimo
Nice rates with big flakes here. Picked up almost a half-inch overnight. 4.1" storm total now.
smokeybandit
What a wonderful commute this morning. That inch of snow overnight basically shut down the state. There was barely any traffic on 100% clear roads.

EastCoast NPZ
Rather persistent light snows overnight and still a bit this AM. Surprisingly, I measured 2.0" on my official measuring spot (patio table). Nice morning out with everything covered white. Better event, ultimately, than I expected.
