RAP and HRRRRR put the inverted trough between DC and Baltimore later this afternoon with decent accumulation.  Given that would bullseye MBY, I'm hugging like there's no tomorrow.

ESRL maps don't look nearly as good as wxbell.

The last frame of the 11Z RAP still showed precip in the area, so more to come at h19 if it's accurate.

On instantweathermaps, it shows over 1" of liquid around DC and Baltimore from the 11z RAP by hour 18.  That's totally bonkers.  The snow total looks more reasonable.  Not sure what the disconnect is.  No way the area gets over 1" of liquid.

As much as I hate to say, IWM may be wrong?

Did the NAM or any non short range guidance still show the norlun for our area?

31 with a steady snow up here. Kids already had school off today, scheduled teacher work day, and are hoping to be able to go sledding.  :sled:

Baltimore County schools were already closed too, made for a really easy commute in.
