ravensrule
surface doesn't go below freezing until 0z Tue. Probably .3 is accumulating snow. Tues. morning would be the best period for something decent. it has .36 with the surface below freezing and an additional .08 of it is with the temps between 32.4 and 33. HighStakes
We need yesterday's 12z run only 50-75 miles further west.
ravensrule
Whoa I went from a red tag to a blue tag, how did that happen? Am I downgraded? No they did something to help keep the board running. You still have your Met tag under your name so have no fear.
snowfan
I don't remember seeing such a large swath of 2-3 ft snowfall.
usedtobe
Yeah it's a bit better. The wedge of omg everyone sucks shifted slightly west. Sketchy tho. I can't remember cashing in on many bands that back into the bay. True but I can see why the NWS put out the eastern watch. The forecast 500 low position is very similar to Feb 1978. It's was not good for folks from the city west but was good for the eastern folks. Even northern Calvert got 4 or 5 inches. It's really rare but can happen. It's making Jason sweat a lot today. mitchnick
We need yesterday's 12z run only 50-75 miles further west. that I think is still possible, so we shall see the trend was in the right direction with all the models at 500mb and the crazy thing is, there really is still time with this
Wonderdog
Looking at a few satellite images, I wouldn't be surprised if the primary ends up going right over us or even further north.

If that is true and it was intentional that is classic. DT was basically telling people to go f themselves last night.. Did they strip him too? Hard to totally discount it for sure. When I bust it's often from hugging history. I don't really have any strong feelings on this one... I guess I lean low just because that's how we roll but there are signals for more than that.
Fozz
We need yesterday's 12z run only 50-75 miles further west. Wes's comment about the H5 and Feb 1978 leaves me with still a little bit of hope.

clskinsfan
Euro is worst case for out here. Majority of the front end thump misses north. Then we miss the coastal. Kinda typical for a Miller B out here. And will probably end up being right. Just a damn shame really.
