ORH_wxman
GGEM qpf is around 1.25-1.5" for BOS...not the HECS that the NAM/GFS had but more like the Euro last night. Obviously still a massive storm.

powderfreak
BOS may have gone from being in the futility race a week ago to the epic run by Wednesday. As of yesterday BOS had 5.5. Today should double+ that and the new sum may be tripled by mid week. There are going to be some epic bumping of posts from all those folks that melted down, especially in eastern sections last week. I mean this was a pity party to save all pity parties in here. See it pays off to complain. Mother Nature listens.

powderfreak
I wouldn't concern ourselves with qpf. Everyone is a queen on the NW edge of storms.... when you have no temp issues, your next concern is QPF. Without a Rain/Snow problem, everyone will be a QPF queen. The 4 Seasons
The bonus with this storm is we can all just sit back and not have to worry about the R/S line, after this nail biter of a storm.
SnowGoose69
How about nyc? I'm at the gym. Seriously considering taking a day off to chase this beast. Everything right now minus the NAM is a narrow miss for them, maybe 60-80 miles on everything, they still get snow but ERN LI is the bullseye. HIPPYVALLEY
No offense but hoping for NW trend, currently modeling cuts things back pretty quickly out this way. Plenty of time to change that though...
