powderfreak
Talking about subsidence after that run? Good grief. That's a widespread 12-24" storm. The subsidence is over like Ithaca, NY.
40/70 Benchmark
I'll meet you at the tobin, we both push each other when the subsidence zone moves over us on radar Never fails. CT-Berks-Dendrite

Typhoon Tip
Question ... If this storm wound up just 10-15", but then the one at the end of the week upped to 10-15" ... would anyone be disappointed...?
dryslot
Nyc is def ground zero on this run.. Though I remember Nemo looked that way but then went east last 24 Correct

TauntonBlizzard2013
The euro is pretty cold for interior SE mass. I think a CF would be pinned down by the cape and right along the shore in Plymouth county
ORH_wxman
Feb '13 jacked CT. Oh I thought you were playing the NW CT/Berks/C NH card...but if you include another area that is totally seperate from that then of course it will seem like they jackpot more...since they have twice the chance (or even more than twice the chance if you are including the entire state of CT)
bboughton
I'll take it. Has me in a nice little 36" jackpot.

jm1220
Correct NYC was never supposed to be ground zero for Nemo. There were some wacky NAM and RPS runs that nailed us, but the lion's share of guidance was always zeroing in on SNE because of the late phase and development of the storm. It really wasn't even until about 2 days prior that NYC was expecting much of anything. Suffolk County LI was supposed to be hit harder but nothing like the up to 30" that fell there. If I remember correctly the predictions started out at 4-8" here and went up to 10-15", which is just about what NYC received.

SlantStickers Anonymous
Considering the drifts I saw on my house after nemo, I don't think I'm going to have a visible side door by the end of this. Yeah, that map looks fantastic.

ORH_wxman
CON pulled off 24" in Feb '13. They didn't jackpot though...that was less than BOS/ORH/Ray and of course CT

No worries with that Not sure we went an east tic on that.....we aren't getting the mid level deform band, so why run the risk of getting in that relative "lull" in forcing in the middle... weatherMA
CON pulled off 24" in Feb '13. Headed back to Plymouth today so I'm sure I'm sure ORH will get 28" again and Plymouth maybe 8". I was able to come back to ORH for Feb 13 but not happening this time. I think you could still do well on the NW side but Plymouth on north might be stretching it.
