SR Airglow
Significant improvements on the GFS though 39 hours. Whole evolution is about 3-5 hours slower and it's digging much more.

jamesnichols89
Guys, I think this is going to happen. Man I'm getting excited, we are within 60 hours of this thing hitting the East Coast.
40/70 Benchmark
There isn't a whole lot of space to be west of 6z, and still fall short.
jamesnichols89
GFS closes off the H5 shortwave at hour 24 over the OH Valley. This is going to be a bomb.
Morch Madness
Yep, watch out. Heading right straight up the coast at hr

jamesnichols89
That shortwave fragment out ahead of the main shortwave is moving quickly away from the main shortwave, allowing more digging to the southeast and more heights to rise ahead of the H5 shortwave trough. This is going to happen folks.

Hoth
Lol re: NAM. Like the general idea, but that QPF output is ridiculous. Remember before Blizz '13 when it printed out like 70" in eastern MA? See what GFS does here...
HoarfrostHubb
I'm fine with the GFS making some corrections toward the other guidance, but would not want a huge swing at this point. It needs to settle down. Better...

Heisy
This is what we wanted to see. While it doesn't go all NAM-ish, verbatim it took the big step towards the EURO/NAM we were hoping for. Hell yeah!

ORH_wxman
GFS is a little east of the NAM, but the trend continues...BOS gets about 20" on this run.
Heisy
The GFS did something a bit odd, at 60 hours it looked like it was about to start full out phasing, but instead it kind of kicks East a bit in the next 12 hours before doing the phase. This tells me there is a lot more room for a better phase and much bigger storm than even the GFS is showing.
